This delightful little portrait of a young boy is in its original gilt frame and is signed ‘Ht Colbert’ (possibly the sitters name) and is dated 1846. It really is a very charming painting.
In good condition, with small spots and dull marks. The paint is stable and the board has a slight bow. The frame is also in good condition. Measurements include frame.
